Cheryl Lee MSN, APRN, FNP-BC

I am Cheryl Lee, a native of Greenville, SC. I have been married for thirty amazing years and am a proud mother blessed with four children and three grandchildren.

I began my medical career as a cardiac/emergency department nurse in 1991 when I graduated from Greenville technical college with an associate degree in nursing. Twenty-five years later, I graduated from Western Governors University with a BS in Nursing.

As I started down the road toward nursing leadership, I found that my calling was and continues to be interfacing with patients. It was this realization that led me to further my education to be in more of a leadership perspective with patients.

I attended South University where I received my Masters in Nursing and specialized as a Family Nurse Practitioner. I am board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).

I am currently attending graduate school to pursue my passion in quantum medicine and obtain my doctorate and Ph.D. in Integrative Medicine.

I see you and I hear you. Been there, done that. But now, I have lost 62 lbs. alongside with my husband David, who has lost 80 lbs.

This is why I actually started Medicine Wheel Weight Loss because I myself had struggled with my weight, constant dieting and confidence for years.

I felt frustrated, discouraged and like my body was fighting against me constantly.

So I tried other diets in hopes to get and maintain my weight loss….

This was all due to these crash diets of being super strict, then over eating for days then going back to being strict again.

This is when I realized that all these diets (aka diet industry) wasn’t there to help women like me lose weight… (you know the
eoman who has hormonal and metabolic issues…)

But when I stepped on that scale seeing 186 lbs I knew I couldn’t give up.

These diets were damaging my already poor hormones, metabolism, or even mental health.

This is when I knew I couldn’t keep doing what I had been doing and I needed to change.

So I dove all in…

Through my process I learned how to….

😕 Learning how to eat REAL foods I enjoy while losing weight,

💕Forgiving myself when I would fall off or be “not perfect”

🍕Learning how to see results while going on vacations and holidays.

👏Most importantly learned how to lose that 62 lbs and keep it off for good!
